Agree, if you want to make a fuss, a simple narrative and message is all it take to throw doubt at people.

Yup, it's basically trying to make out that, since everyone is corrupt, there's no need to actually hold him (Trump) to account for his corruption. That's why when Trump accuses an opponent of doing something it can be taken as an admission that it's actually exactly what he's doing.

Yes but isn't there enough awful stuff he has actually done rather than taking stuff out of context? It just weakens the case against him if people are making stupid claims which are easily rebutted.

Trump owes tens of millions of dollars to a Chinese state bank (in his financial disclosures)

Trump pays thousands of times more tax outside the US than within.

Some of his kids were caught embezzling funds from a charity and have been struck off the charity director list. Including diverting funds from a children's cancer charity to pay Trump family bills.

Things Trump fans care about:

Joe Biden is compromised by China and his kid is a crook.

I've been listening to the Intercepted podcast who are doing a mini-series reviewing the Trump administration. It's incredibly depressing. I can highly recommend it.
