Used this to repair a patch. But I reckon it's up to doing a whole lawn.
No idea on price competitiveness

Should have ordered that one, d'oh! Got impatient and just ordered a random one. And then instantly realised I'd have preferred a quick delivery. Arse.

I've used Rolawn stuff which had worked well

I used Wilko shady lawn seed with no rye grass and it came up lovely. £3.

Wilko was our first try but they didn’t have any!

Today's garden work. The outdoor tap is on the opposite corner of the house, so I think a water supply would be handy here. And I need rainwater for the ericaceous raised bed, natch.
All that's left to do is to fit the tap, which they forgot to include.
It's not exactly a thing of beauty, but it's less fugly than some of the others I've seen, and will eventually be largely obscured by the new hedge.

Oh, and home-made fixing brackets. 3mm stainless plate, with stainless steel fixings. It ain't going nowhere.

There's an offside lawn joke in this somewhere.

That's put me on the spot to get a pun in the gardening thread. I'll pass.

Careful with that lawn, the slightest knock and you’ll be rolling on the floor in apparent mortal agony.

Do you have a link?
We're moving to a metered connection and my OH is constantly managing my water use expectations.

I'm looking to buy a pair of secateurs, for my brother who is a landscaper, he had a pair of these but managed to lose them this week, so looking for a replacement around the same price, as they are out of stock,. my go to would normally be Niwaki, probably these ones, but does anyone else have any recommendations around the same price?

I’ve had the same basic felcos for about 15 years now and no complaints. Every part is replaceable and can get the bits from any garden centre or mower shop. The version with the swivel hand is nice if he’s using them hour after hour.
They’re not as artisanal as some of the options out there but they’re common for good reason. -

None secateurs.

Sure. This is the water butt:
and this is the diverter I got rather than the bundled one:

Cheers.
That's a bit more than I was expecting. But then I guess it's pretty large.
Final crop of tatties out. Took the beds out, levelled and then I installed this weird pet cemetery looking thing to protect the grass while it regrows over winter. People like to sit on the wall so wanted to keep access. And I like building stupid shit in the garden.
Note: sash weights and old piano legs as mini gateposts.
