Basically he travels to places where no one really wants to go to, many times with no plan at all.
His Indian/former-USSR videos especially are great.
It's been mentioned before in this thread as well but Ed Pratt's unicycling around the world series is incredible, and the video quality gets better as he goes along. The Central Asia and China bits are the best imo:

There's also a guy I follow from my country who does cycling videos, "One Cyclist in Lisbon". His content is in English and his videos are very good.
