Not debating the strategy, was just answering why i think they've gone with Latifi over Russell. AFAIK they've been up front about saying they think money will benefit them more than Russell's talent which is probably right.
With Perez they get the best of both worlds.
Talking of money, Haas maybe going down the same road as Racing Point with there driver/owner line up.
