Part of our estate management fees are for the tidying up. Our bin is smashed to pieces full by Sunday, taken on Monday, then the area cleaned up Monday.
Is it the residents or do you think it's chancers taking the piss and just hoying stuff as they go by? -

i saw a bloke merrily strolling down the road last weekend with two giant bags of garden waste that he nonchalantly hoiked onto the pile, so i suspect it's folks from the entire area.

I know you didn't (😘) but in my experience that's what it's like living on, or near, a council estate... There are some okay ones and there are some bloody awful ones, I've seen much worse than those pics you've posted...
Kind of goes with the territory, innit...

to be perfectly honest, i have no proof whatsoever that it's the folks who live in the estate and could just as easily be middle class cunts like me dumping their shit in the dead of night. Part of the problem is folks clearly don't have enough access to facilities where they can get rid of stuff responsibly, hence the pics above - which are pretty mild by comparison to most days.

Would agree, sub human scum.
There was a trolley of complete shit dumped on my road, I had a pick through it and found mail so returned the whole thing to sender. Knocked on their door and told them their rubbish had been found on another street, ended up feeling sorry for them as they were poor as fuck.

being poor is no excuse tho. i've been poor, we probably all have - never used that as a reason to dump my shit on someone else's doorstep.
besides which, i've noticed the middle class equivalent of this on my morning fatcuntrun around the endz, namely the pile of unwanted books / cd's / dvd's and toys arranged neatly along a wall outside a nice house. fuck these people too.

fuck these people too.
Dude it's a solid way of giving stuff away to passers by.
If it's still there by the evening you take it inside and then drop it off at a charity shop or recycling bin at the weekend.

Lewisham tip need you to book an appointment to drop off waste - no problem, I can do that
You aren't allowed to come by foot / bike, cars only - annoying but ok, I'll get a cab / zipcar
You need to enter the registration plate of the vehicle before you can book the appointment - fucksake, no wonder people dump shit on the street.
TDLR: does anyone want to give me and my broken cooker hood a lift to the tip.

Dunno man, think there is a difference between not having much money and being poor.

I've totally given up on Lewisham tip, and instead abuse my parents' bexley borough residency and dump at Foots Cray instead. It's quicker to drive to despite being considerably further away, and much more generous about what they'll take.

Yeah - I had about ten bricks I dug out of my garden and wanted to get rid of in Ealing. I stuck them in the boot of the car and drove to the local recycling centre to be told that it's commercial waste and I couldn't leave it there.
There's a bigger borough centre I was sent to, which took 40 minutes in traffic. Got there, tried to empty them and was told I had to weigh my car before / after because I'd be charged. I did that, and upon weighing was told I needed three (!) forms of ID, one with a photo and one had to be my council tax bill. To leave ten bricks.
So then I turned around and drove the 40 minutes home and gave up on it. They've been sat in the corner of my garden since.
Thanks for making it so easy to dispose of this stuff responsibly Ealing...
