U can get small scale r/c like the Kyosho Mini Q etc.

These Tamiya mini 4wd were made back in the 90's for closed track racing.

They had no steering, just motor.

Had to scratch the itch.

Wow - amazing memory! I think they were - weren't there a few that were basically the same? these two and the Thundershot maybe?

Thundershot and Thunderdragon were the precursors.

Only had one shock at the front...

I had a terrascorcher and my twin brother had a thundershot.. Yes front shock and also bearings as opposed to plastic bushes I think from memory.. I remember getting with circa 1990 Thundershot was £170 and Terrascorcher was £210.. for complete kits..

Paid £125 and it has upgraded electronic esc / modified motor.

By the looks of that one, and assuming you don't mind not building, it sounds like you got a better deal than what the re-re would have costed

Yeah looks like base kit will be circa 180 plus r/c plus upgrades knocking 300+

Plus I got one of these in the loft with LRP running gear I might flip. (boxed)
