Poor Fabric's new pain killers stopped working for him in the last few days and he's back to struggling to move his rear legs. Was literally just dialling the vet to arrange an appoinbtment and he tried to jump onto a shelf, slipped and had a fall. He didn't get up after that.
Rushed him to vet where they have found that his heart has fluid around it and he is struggling to breathe. Raised euthanising him with the Vet who once again seemed suprised and was talking about stabilising him and putting him on duretics. Tried to explain how much pain he is in on a daily basis regardless of any heart problems and he seemed to come round to the idea a bit.
Going to see how he is doing in a couple of hours but I think its time to stop trying new things. The poor guy is hurting and his quality of life doesn't justify that.
