Thanks again for the route suggestion! Strung it out to 40+ miles; was woefully under-tyred but that made it even more fun.

Gatorskins
Ha, they don't have any grip on the road!

Ah good stuff. Yeah it's nice having a loop just about on the doorstep and you can turn it into a loop of pretty much any distance. If you've got time for 40 miles plus you can crack on through Cobham, take the actual #gravel bridleway to Downside, then head for Bookham common and on to the Downs.

Gravelling+ certainly seem tougher than the originals and still roll nicely .

They look pretty slick but are they grippier than they look?

Lightweight gravel bike by Rob English (apologies if a repost).
15.8lbs / 7.2 kg
Some very neat details, personally I think it looks a bit 'off' overall, but I'm not sure why. Could just be the very clinical lighting he uses for his images.

A gr*v*l video that doesn't really, really suck. A rarity.

I think its the 'progressive' geometry + color scheme. Most of the 'progressive' geo gravel bikes look a little daft, but the handling makes up for it.

Which linkage design is best for gravel?

ACL/PCL.

Any reason I shouldn't fit a Salsa Cowchipper bar and some GRX shifters to the Kinesis to help its conversion to proper gravel thang?

I have this setup. I like it. But what do I know 🤷

Literally the same thing on mine.
I like it, work brilliantly off road (48cm).
Work colleague have the same, he found it equally brilliant and equally a touch too wide on the road.

48cm though? Fuck that. I'm going back to 42cm C-C with whatever flare being the bonus width. It'll still have aerobars installed.
