Says it’s for zipp but not sure why it wouldn’t give you a good starting point for other wheels

Is there a rule of thumb for working out a decent tyre pressure? I've just run all of my tyres for road riding at 80psi for years (probably because someone on lufguss told me to and it felt ok).
