I guess that's a wrap for this year? Though the season may have been brief it was still perfect and accounts for a significant proportion of my ventures out of the house the past few months.
Had it not been for ThNRC I'd be several inches wider and knowing the routes has enriched my ad-hoc solo rides no end.
Huge thanks to those who've been out and about this year riding silly bikes places they weren't meant to go and to @middleofnowhere and all the instigators of this ridiculous thing.

Great flourish of 5 rides squeezed into the end of the year. Those mid summer long evening rides were missed, but there's also something to be said about riding bikes quickly along lanes at night. That section of exceptionally good road surface at the beginning of the ride last night for example, on a very slight downhill, twisty, but not too much, with fresh legs, is a good feeling.
Guess that was the end of season drinks last night too. That pubs ok. Was welcoming, even when the lady with rowdy bunch shouted "FUCK OFF YOU CUNT!" (Not at one of us)
