just got an old roll developed i need to get back in to taking photos with film i forgot how much i enjoyed getting the film back. Havnt touch the cam in a year or so got lazy with just using the phone.
These were taken with Olympus rc35. also got a an old canon point and shoot recently but the film advance has broken :(

really want to get back in to taking the a film camera with me hence the point and shoot but now its broken i want to look for a new one. looking at a couple of budget options
fuji discovery 90,Olympus trip some of the older point and shoot stuff here in hk is quite expensive atm

Does any one have any suggestions for a nice point snd shoot on a budget of about 50 to 70 quid.

Ricoh FF-70 can be had for £30-50 and they're pretty nice

Any of the Canon Sureshots are fairly good, especially the ones that can do half frame. 72 shots on a roll of film is always nice.

Its a sureshot af35 that I have. Managed to shoot 1 roll then the film advance died but hoping it can be fixed as the motor is still OK.
Didn't know about the half frame thing that's quite a nice option

This is the one I've got, the double focal distance is quite nice too. AF is fairly decent at getting focused images if you make sure to point it at what you want the focus on when focusing

Weirdly 3 have been listed on eBay today

If you buy another sure shot, I have the 2 clip on lenses for them if you want em for cheap.

Anybody got an epson 4490/500v medium format film holder they are not using?

Been sat under my desk for about 6 months. They’re unlikely to go anywhere.

got the roll back from the now broken canon shureshot. few nice bits i had a fun day out taking snaps .
the reason for not winding film on is some of the teeth on the plastic gear have snapped off. :(

HK idint have full lock but people advised away from large gatherings etc and restaurants shut for a bit . HK never feels empty :) (may be on a hike) but its defiantly not as husstle bustle as before the pandemic.

Thanks all just cheap kodak super colour I think 400. Really want to try and get the camera fixed.
