  • looks good, I'm not a fan of utility rooms, but I've never had one, so take my opinion with a pinch of salt.

    I had one when growing up and it was very useful. Basically all the stuff that you don't want to do in the kitchen like cleaning boots, coming home muddy/wet, somewhere to put a pram, umbrellas, etc and more cupboard space in the kitchen as dishwasher, washing machine and the rest can go in there.

    A lot of those are dependent on having an outside door which it looks like it does on the plans.

    Admittedly this was up north (hence being able to have a utility room) so I spent a lot more time wet and muddy.

  • Lived in a flat all my life in London so have no concept of seperate rooms to take off muddy boots.
    Having something like a pantry/larder super organised, rows of shelving and jars would be amazing to my mind..
