Looks mad with big tyres and such a tiny wheelbase!

A coworker of mine had something very similar to the first one - lovely proportions in real life.

Wider 650B Honjos will work with Rat Traps as well.

I went with continental contact urban 2.2 in the end. They came out as 53mm on my decathlon dynamo front wheel. Seem to roll...fine.
There's still loads of space in this GT Tequesta frame, both width and height, I suppose that's how people wedge 2.3s under 60 or 65mm guards for that stance nation look. Which I like, but I can't be bothered to buy anymore tyres. These were the largest tyres that I could find that didn't either weigh 1kg each (big ben, conti contact plus) have tread (too many to mention), or state that they were made for dirt bike racing (maxxis dth, fat frank)
will keep the hive mind informed of further developments.

Do let us know how you get on with those tyres - I'd quite like to try them myself. -

How would one attach a tubus duo low rider rack onto a fork with now mid eyelets.
Also carbon.
Also doubt it'll break the fork so come with the ideas please!!!
A p clip and some washers, perhaps?!
-
• #24142
don't attach racks to carbon forks unless the manufacturer specifies them as such, and then stick to the weight restrictions
if you're looking for light forks why on earth are you putting a rack on them
you're welcome -
• #24143
Cinq among others make a decent carbon fork specifically for racks and touring

Had these forks just laying about and it's only going to be one rack and one bag with light content for too and from work etc.
Literally lunch and a few other small items, I am 100% Confident that the fork would not fail because of that.
However if someone wants to swap their steel rim brake fork with mounts for. Carbon without hit me up.

I'm not buying another fork! This was in my parts bin..

Reader's. Finally got around to doing a shoddy job on the flaps. Leather isn't quite stiff enough but they'll do for now.

That riv is perfection. I was a bit put off by the write up on the radavist (all that business about socks) but isolated from that it is just amazing.
