It's much-debated to be fair but the consensus is that the plastic fittings are more likely to fail over time, whereas copper is doing it properly and a job for life, which is what you want when the pipes are buried in your walls.
Sorry @Vince that was probably a bit strong. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I hate to be the one to tell you this but plastic pipes are crap. If you want it done properly, insist on copper.
