I think in the past, the big issue is not the designing of the cap, but the finding someone to do the admin associated with perhaps 100 caps.
Either, some poor forumite dedicates a significant portion of their life getting payments in, ordering caps, receiving a massive box of caps and then posts them out, with all the hassle that entails when it no doubt goes wrong for a few. Or - and i think this is the key - someone can find a company that does all that for you.
In an ideal world, the cap company would agree the design and then open an order page with a minimum order and a deadline. We all then stick our order in and provided the minimum order was achieved, once the deadline closes, they make that many caps and post them out direct. I don't know if this is a service offered by any cap company, but it's how it worked when @jaeyukdapbap sorted out the TNRC mudguard flaps from RAW.
If you can find a cap company that does that, we're just a design away from possible success. The great thing is, it could be repeated every time a certain number of people wanted a cap.
If you manage this, you'll be lorded by these pages for years to come, be featured in the book and maybe the LFGSS logo could be turned gold for an hour in your honour.
Edit - ^ looks like the design is sorted, so we just need to sort the company now...

I tried to find a company that would do the leg work 2 years ago, doesn't seem to exist with caps, it isn't worth their time. There are a few etsy stores that might consider it but when you add everything up, including forum donation, will people pay £30 for a cap?!
I've done big custom runs a few times now, it's a lot of hassle but I'm bored enough to make it happen for that book feature. I'm thinking Walz, they are good quality & I've done a 100 cap run with them before. Payment up-front, though with Walz being in the US, the tax is hard to cost.
A repeatable system would be nice but this is hypebeast clothing - be more rapha :p

Milltag.cc do this for kit orders, e.g. the Carter usm ones. If they'd do this for caps only fuck knows, but could ask. Might need jersey, bib shorts, mitts, arm warmers & buff design too.
LFGSS Kit thread & list anyone? (start sub list below if so) ;)
OK designers, can I spoil your day? Who can knock-up the template or even work up some new material..
