I've got one. The 147. I really like it but understand that some aren't in to gilt. The rubber strap is real nice. Wouldn't buy one with a bracelet as the bracelet is, like you say, wanting.
Out of the box it runs fast which is annoying. About five mins a week I think.
For the money I think their QC isn't really good enough. The hour pip on the bezel is a poor design for automated assembly; on too many it looks misaligned.

SPB143
I have to say I don’t think these cases suit a bracelet at all. They’re much better on rubber or a NATO.
The Seiko bracelets are decent and functional but remember you realistically have to spend twice as much on a watch to get a “good” bracelet.

That’s terrible from a 6R. That can’t be within the quoted accuracy can it? I know Seiko underreports accuracy but I’ve never had a 4R or 6R that was more than +6s/day. Maybe check if it’s magnetised.

Yep. I keep meaning to better quantify it and do something about it!

Yeah, they do look good, don't they... I always like to buy a bracelet with a watch, helps with the resale. Seems like they can be had on eBay for about £750-800 on rubber, there's even one for £800 on a bracelet now, slightly used. I do have a SLA017 itch though and not sure if this can scratch it.

My Squale probably gains about 30s a day. It's not magnetised according to that iPhone app - normally I'd throw it at Alsal but no longer coming into London.
It's a pretty standard ETA movement I think, is it something than can be adjusted easily, or is it worth finding a decent jeweller?

Brought a second hand San Martin V3 Sub (owner wanted the Hulk version) which haven’t been worn yet.
It shit on the already excellent Steeldive.

Unlikely IMHO but it depends on how important the finishing is to you. The design is kind of 80% of the way there but the finishing is nothing like it.

The bracelet looks like a surprisingly decent imitation, what’s the clasp like?

Man-jewellery.

It’s amazing, screw link too and solid end.
Micro adjust, clasp and quick release too.

Yeah, cheaper alternatives are not good at scratching itches like that.

It Does look good -

I prefer your logo to the SAN MARTIN , is thst a newer version ?

Be careful! It might still have been magnetised. The only way to know for sure is to degauss.
That squale has antimagnetic housing which although reduces the chance of it getting a dose it also shields your phone from being able to detect any magnetism.

Watch regulation on the go, I’d guess.
I really like the new SPB143/145/147 Seiko divers but the reviews are scary. Anyone’s got one? That bracelet doesn’t look like a £200 worth of bracelet.
