531 frameset Tom Board Built ( Paris Rensch, MacLeans, Condor etc builder) £90

Nice if unusual frame built by Tom Board, 57cm c-c, 58cm c-t seat tube. I'm pretty sure it's 531, (I bought it as such) although oddly it does seem to have an Italian Threaded BB. Could be a replica of something Italian, as Tom Board was known to built replica frames for people.

Selling as it's too big for me, and it wouldn't accept the Campag Chris square taper I had for it. I think it should accept another double setup though, as it has brazed on cable guides for both. I was going to built it up as a single ring setup but got a different frame instead so never bothered.

It has some chainring rub on the driveside stay but doesn't seem too deep to me, I think mostly it took the paint off. You can see this in 2nd photo. (hence cheapish price)

Comes with Italian Chorus square tape BB and Campagnolo Headset (not sure of model but I think Chorus)

Can also though in some tektro long drop brakes (and ugly levers) for an extra £20 if you want some decent enough long drops brakes to fit)

Good clearance for mudguards etc and pretty large tyres if you want this for a winter bike.

£90 with the bb and headset. £110 with the Tektro brakes as well.

That's rather nice - a pity it's too small for me.

No interest at all-531 frame with bits, ? I'd have thought the bb and headset are worth a decent amount of the £80 on their own...

What is the top tube ctc and where are you located?

Can't remember the top tube, but it is relatively short.-maybe 55 or 56cm c-c? Pos a bit longer. I'll measure it tomorrow morning for you. I'm in East Ham, but I can bring it to central London Thursday or Fridays (and some Wednesdays) when I'm at work if that helps at all
