Opinions on the Brick Lane Bikes Fixie/SS classic frame? New bike build...

Hi all,

I'm looking for a (200-500pounds) frameset to build up a single speed/fixie (via flip-flip hub). One option I have is the BLB City classic. Anyone have any opinions/experiences with BLB?

Another option is to convert a vintage road frame (horizontal drop-outs) into a fixie/SS....but just worried that it will be difficult to achieve a working chain-line and tension (I am a novice and this would be my first time building a bike from scratch...)

this is much less of an issue than you seem to think! did you read the replies to your other thread?

I see....

Yes, i did read the other replies, its just that I'm quite paranoid about things not 'fitting together'!!!

But yes...BLB is also quite expensive for the parts they offer, and I assume their frames are just made from a factory in Taiwan...
