Fridge-freezer: current plan is to use the one we have in the convenient recess. Space is available above this for the microwave. A built-in fridge freezer would be nice, but not sure where it could go. (and budget doesn't allow)
The bit in the bottom between hall and kitchen table and the two doors - what purpose does this serve? Could you alter this to give a longer run by the sink?
Could you move the utility to where the table is and have a built in corner table where utility is?
The layout of all walls typically matches flats above and below. These (tenement) structures aren't particularly resilient to wall removal. (Have I misunderstood your question?)
