Yeah I’m sure February is going to be a lot worse but I had to stop multiple times to take mud out as there’s very little clearance between the rear tyre, FD & FD band so mud was just piling up on top of the battery. Had to clear the fork crown a couple of times also. One ride in and I’m wondering if a 650B option might be a good idea once we hit the really bad weather

This is amazing!
With regards to the asymmetric decals; when you're ballin on Zipps who give a fuck, amirite!?

That's great, thanks! I've just moved back to Teddington, so also good to know it's rideable-to from that area.

Anyone used Turbolito or those new Schwalbe Aerothan? in anger for sticking in failed TL setup?
-
• #13181
failed TL setup
Y?
-
• #13182
so you are going for one shortly tested semi-proven thing (TL) to something thats totally new and un-tested IRL?

Dafuq are you talking about? I literally just asked if anyone has experience with this stuff?
-
• #13184
they were released yesterday (metaphorically)
go back to tubeless explosions pls
-
• #13185
Non sealing hole, cut, leaky valve, dry sealant, broken valve, I dunno, any number of possible failures that requires the inserting of a tube to carry on.
-
• #13186
Rubbish. I specifically looked at Turbolito last year for TCR and similar.
-
• #13187
The point of asking if anyone has experience isn't for people with no experience to tell me they or I have no experience.
-
• #13188
For what it's worth, I have no experience

Does anyone want to hear a story?
No?
Ok, so, to the story. It was the best of times it was the worst of times...

FINE, let me know how they are once you try them

• #13193
(I’ve got tubeless on my arkose, which has been mostly fine - has let me down at very inopportune moments a few times though)

Also, Revoloop are meant to be very similar to Aerothan and have also been around at least a year:

Anyone WITH EXPERIENCE care to comment on them (the fat ones, specifically for reducing pack size of spares for my gravel bike)?

No. DTM.

You know what I’ve been running lately with great success.
Tubes.
-
• #13198
That's nice. I've made the same comments to tubeless users before so I should expect it.
Where do you ride? What do you ride? What pressures do you run?
I have 30 years experience with tubes and only a couple with tubeless. I am running tubeless on the gravel bike until I decide tubes are better.

Amen.
I had three mud-pushing-chain off events on my attempt to Cambridge on Saturday.
And multiple De-muddings.
Not saying its as bad as it gets, but it was distinctly unpleasant.
Especially along farmer's fields.
