Unsurprising really. Has taken a pay day, but should have retired last year

He’s been worse than usual this Vuelta. He did the actual Peter Kay GARLIC BREAD joke the other day.

Whatever. There’s forrin people at the side of the road and it’s not May or July so it must be the Vuelta.

Mis-spellings of Tao's name are often enjoyable. This one probably came about because a Cyclingnews writer was rushing to get the article on-line. Unfortunately, haste doesn't work so well when Tao's in the race. :)
Tao Gegogharn Hart

A good stage in the Giro today and also looking forward to Stage 10 on Tuesday which passes through Roseto degli Abruzzo where I have stayed for a couple of cycling holidays over the last few years.
It's a great place to base yourself. I was 100 metres from the sea so I would walk my wife to the typical italian beach (all white sand and rows and rows of perfectly aligned matching umbrellas) in the morning and then head off on a rental bike into the mountains. Easy enough to get up to 1,000m altitude within 30km from the beach and then back down literally to sea level to dip your toes in the Adriatic, collect the wife and grab some lunch together.

Happy for Mads, he's incredibly strong and deserves more wins but in the era of WVA and VPD they're going to be extra tough.

WVA and VDP are going to be marked like crazy.
Had there been a bit more collaboration, we’d be seeing a sprint between the two of them, but none of the others fancied leading out either of them for the win. -

He is smarter than both tho...

Andre Greipel talks Trash and Besenwagen. Very good! Bonus worst hangovers answered.

Someone has imagined if every team in the peloton did a collab with a fashion/streetwear/sport brand.

I think they’re all an improvement on the current crops of kits.

Sad way to go, He's just completely used up.
He gave me a podium cap in 2012 so I've always liked him.

WVA and VDP are going to be marked like crazy.
It's a bit easier to mark them on a flat run in like today. It'll be a lot harder next week when they put the hammer down on the climbs, repeatedly.

Was thinking the same. Reckon he should get one more go at the tour and lead the bunch out on the last lap

in "the high life" documentary, there's talk about how help from other teams in the peloton can be bought if needed on a given day... with this being agreed between directors as-and-when required. does that still go on at all or is that just a relic?
hoohen heheho?
