any half-decent / elegant way to retro-fit Di2 to a non-Di2 frame? no? eTap it is then

I know a few Cannondales where the hose is routed under the unsleeved BB30 axle and held away from it with a tiny ziptie that breaks and then the hose rubs through the axle ruining the cranks until the hose bursts and pisses fluid everywhere. They've both been SRAM though so only nice healthy DOT fluid.

Drill.

Depends on the frame... what have you got?
And sub’d

That's what I've done on an S2 and a P2. Not dead yet. There's still time...

Should be able to do something similar to what I’ve done with my Moots...

an internal battery and bar end junction would tidy it up a bit...

This stuff right here. Also great for Schmidt dynamo wire - especially stealth on a black frame.

What is this? Is that a Ti Fork?
-
• #165
Its from a framebuilder called Mawis bikes on insta. He does cool stuff
-
• #166
I’m getting a ti fork similar to that so very interested - looking up now thanks 👏

Better pic:

May I ask why? A lot of frame builders argue that ti is a poor material to make a fork from.

Some newish carbon flat mount forks with hole in the rear of the steerer for hose routing.
Still need to get it inside the headtube somehow for that first though

1 1/4" steerer though. Weird sizing.

Bloody Giant. CK Inset 8 would sort that out though

Pretty easy to hide the junctions and battery in those hoods...
-
• #174
while it looks cool; travelling with a bike that has completely hidden cables is a bit of a nightmare if you plan to use a bike box at all.. most require removal/disassembly of cockpit and without enough slack in the cables it wont work. only thing that puts me off this approach

travelling
lol
srsly though, I have an externally routed MTB hydro and internally routed road hydro, never had to touch either other than bleeding, what can go wrong? unless sram.
