If my squash are still just plants with no fruit, does that mean I'm not getting any squash this year?
In my limited experience, yes. They are quite needy and need a good deal of feeding, water and sun, and we’re probably done with the latter for the year which is what really brings them on.
No Squash unless we get a very long mild autumn, as the plants will die with first frosts. I'm in the same boat.
