• Would look good with the headset tho 😉

  • Some hauls.
Beautiful pair of S75 crank bolts. Nicely engraved and in great condition. Never seen ones like it so had to buy them for the groupset.
3R tool with the original paint and ?the owner’s name on the back.
    And a chainring. Just because..

  • Bit of progress today after work, no time these days because of it..
Nice period and group specific HS to go with the DA 10 Pitch gruppo going on this. They never made a HS to go with the 10 Pitch but this is widely acknowledged to be the right one to go with it. And the BB. Nice touch of the sleeve sticker still being intact..
Next come the DA 10 Pitch installation.
Won't lie, this way well get stripped and all updated with S75DD and WoundUps (if they don't sell). The frame is beaut.. T

  • A bit late here, but Di2 is literally the lowest maintenance, least hassle out of any bike componentry I’ve ever used. Ignoring the disc part of the equation. Set and forget. I haven’t adjusted mine for three year’s and it hasn’t missed a beat.

  • However I just agree. Modern cable group sets are incredible. I’m using current gen 105 and it’s wild how good it is at such a low cost.

  • Minimal weight gainz but 100% cooler ;) Ultegra discs are for sale if anyone’s interested. T

  • Amazing, hoped someone on here snapped this up. Went to post it in the eBay thread but it disappeared!

  • Thanks man. Aye I’ve been keeping my eye out for something bit different. Good steel and mono stay made it a must ;) if it sits then there’s a chance of a 1 1/8” HT conversion and a rowdy matt pink spray job..

  • Ahh sweet - I had a bit of a gander at that too. My sixth form art teacher used to be sponsored by them when he was racing track for team gb in the 90's, I think the framebuilder was based out of Manchester if my memory is correct?

  • Lovely

  • Ahhhh went to see this in person, went away to think about it and it went! You'll do it more justice than me though I'm sure.

  • Ah thanks, good to know. I’ll have a proper look into once it arrives and I give it a shot etc. Appreciated tho.
Cheers folks, looked a bit special so thought why not ;) if it doesn’t fit etc @Dexter then I’ll keep you in mind. T

  • Frame arrived today, looks even better IRL and size looks almost spot on (fingers crossed!). Trial run tomorrow hopefully. Fork clearance is almost Rizla aka by a midge's bawhair as the Scots would say. Now.. If it fits and rides as good as it looks then there's a chance of a 1 1 /8" Ht conversion along with some stainless PMW dropouts and get it sprayed in rawdy matt pink.. Will see ;) T

  • Exciting times man, look forward to seeing it progress.

  • id be up for them discs Tom

  • Will keep things posted. Weather is currently so bad I'd need a boat rather than a bike to get around..
@Thrasher yes happy to send them out. They're in up Clearout thread aswell if you want to eyeball the description. I have someone else interested but you got there first ;) Cheers. T

  • moots

Very nice, only thing I would do is to desticker the rims. They just
bother the eye and doesn't meld with the rest of the build.

  • Talk to me. 140 or 160?

  • Thanks mate and I completely agree with you. It's all sprayed on or under the lacquer so don't just peel off unfortunately otherwise I'd have done it a while ago. Think I'll just ride them to their death and then have something a bit crazy built ;)
Rotors are 160mm, two people in the queue I'm awaiting and answer from but will keep things updated.
Cheers mate and hope you're well. T

  • F**king quick link. Never again!! Thankfully only a short walk from home..

  • F**king quick link. Never again!!

Did you reuse a non-reusable one perhaps? Quick links are proven technology; there shouldn't be any reason not to use them.

  • Hoarded over the past few months during some lucid work moments..
New idea is 1st Gen DA NJS... Yes the HS is NJS and rare AF..
Need pedals for the 1st Gen Suntour NJS groupset..
Moots has all black PDW fenders and still dialling in seatpost.
Gangsta is awaiting the PW front hub from 3/12 ago, their factory has minorly slight delays... Zipp 303 disc wheel is here and ready for pulling apart..
Atom is almost ready for deconstruction.
Need to streamline all my vintage bits, they're all in boxes and everywhere.. T
