Ooh fun! I guess (and it is a guess) that the ratchet wheel spring has failed.

out of curiosity why are you getting rid? Not happy with it? I keep getting tempted to order one of their Squale "homage"/ripoffs.

A watch I was after became available before the Steeldive even arrived, and I had to buy. Simple money raising exercise.
The quality is quite amazing for the price. -

really starting to like the Steinhart - I keep eyeing off the Ti Ocean 1 - just not keen on the dimensions.

Is it better to sell a watch on Chrono24 or eBay? Taking into account fees or getting screwed over

Good old SKX on Murts special today.
I'm thinking about switching bezel to a sloped, insertless type (pilots? I think I've sent him called)

Thanks for everyones recommendations for a new watch. I've spent an unhealthy amount of time looking at all sorts of options. I'm still on the fence about anything at 38mm or more, as i have narrow wrists. Would a second hand Seamaster quartz be a stupid idea? Size is good, lower servicing costs etc. But would a 2nd hand quartz movement have much life left in it?

Hahaha love it
I've also got a watch in need of service/repair. SKX007 (nearly 3yo), which no longer runs - I can hear it winding, the crown works fine to set date and time but the only time the second hand advances is when the watch is shaken. It literally stops as soon as it's still.
What's the probably diagnosis?
