@AlfaGT @SideshowBob I am not allowing someone to rob him like that, he is a colleague! This was for sale via Yammer at work, and he was asking £450. It is too small for me but was going to buy it for a mate if I could get it for £300 ish mates rates. Didn't want to be cheeky so didn't make him an offer. He then said he'd try ebay. I have alerts set up for mercians so not sure how I missed that going so cheap. Was it a 7 day auction?
Guy has some paperwork for it even!

@AlfaGT texted the seller anyway just. On that subject, feel slightly bad for the prospective buyer if I get it seller might not want to. Have had some luck with Mercians through the work yammer group, but never flipped for a profit (was tempted as an intern once). A beautiful full campag record one went to my friend's mum a couple of years back and she's since toured Europe on it. 531c and built new for the owner who never really used it in 2000. Think I got and passed it on for ~£400

Mercian guy had some issues and refunded the buyer which is good

potential bargain tarmac SL5 frameset here - difficult to tell from the pics whether the damage is just cosmetic or something more serious. really just looks like (admittedly bad) paint damage to me

Almost looks like the frame has a crease in it (probably not the case). Hard one to buy off pictures

I'm all for buying cracked carbon though usually I go in for cracked tubular wheels. But given that seller seems to know what they're doing, I'd seriously question why they'd sell that frame for £500 instead of having it fixed. I strongly suspect it's as they know it's fucked.
