So all asymptomatic people that tested positive were in contact with someone that did to get a test, were part of workplace testing programs, or fibbed they had symptoms to get tested and genuinely had it?

Separate from the main test and trace system there is an ONS survey where people are randomly* selected and tested. This data is from that.

Ah, tx!

They thought 40% of people with corona don't have symptoms, looks it could be even higher.

Looks like the ONS doesn't do as much research in NI, but they are working with Oxford uni to get covid data here.
