Cheers, was coming round to that view, just want to get this finished. Have found a pair, once they arrive then the job should be done.
Oh and I bought a biodinamica bidon years ago, when my dog was a pup he put his teeth through it. Just checked and my £27 purchase then is now about £100 to replace.

I think there should be a screw adjustable barrel that the cable holder fits into.
The cable holder position relative to the pivot is adjustable, so the leverage is adjustable.
Prolly impossible to find that part, better to buy new levers.
