• I've had the same, on tyres I have fitted there is usually a moulding line close to the rim that I use to check the tyre is on equally all the way around. You'll also need to let the tyres down to put in some sealant (unless you did that before the first inflation). If they are not seated properly I think they will pop off then anyway.
    You may know this already but when deflating for the first time I tend to do it slowly to try and reduce the risk of the tyre un-seating. Not sure this really makes a difference but it makes me feel better.

  • Yep, I checked the moulding line and it's even all round. Will go for a ride later and see what happens!

  • I've been getting this on narrower (19mm ID) rims and 38/35mm G-Ones lately. Fully deflated the tyre generally jumps off a little bit but always goes back up again without issue. Kind of annoying though as I suspect this is the reason for losing 20ish psi overnight. Have tried both more and less tape, no luck.
