Cheers both. I need pads/holders for some cantis that take threaded posts - which seem to be hard to find! Ideally I’d rather get some threaded holders that take the smaller road style insert but may have to resort to v-brake holders. Will check frame clearance.

You're probably better off bailing out at this point and getting mini-v brakes.

Unless your fork won't take them or there's a specific need for the extra mud clearance.

Yeah I’ve been entertaining the idea. I had it in my mind that I wanted cantis on this bike but I can’t remember if I ever had an actual reason for that, now!
