Nice to see the pundits who tell us that Chelsea are finished this season because we failed to score in the first half against a nine at the back Palace are also saying how these results are will act as a catalyst to Man U Liverpool Villa and Spurs.

I think we need the option of no crowd noise and no crass commentary/punditry. The League Cup game I watched on their £10 pay per view website was actually rather pleasant as it had one commentator giving objective factual commentary and no pundits and no fake crowd noise.

Apparently he offered to keep himself on for no pay in return for being able to buy himself a season ticket (obviously didn't have to buy tickets before).

The thing is, Jerry is part of the club. He's a much loved member of the Arsenal community. A friendly face to all the away travelling fans who know him. Popular with the kids. 20+ years of being an amassador. They could have put him on unpaid leave indefinitely instead.

It might be a fair business decision but its still one that sends a poor message to the fans. Especially the young gunners kids who grew up at the club seeing him every game.
