I’ll try and keep this long story short. I used to live in London and regularly lurked on the the forum (my profile is long gone and / or forgotten).
I now live in Berlin, but came back last year to cover maternity leave and was gagging to get back riding in town.
So, I wanted to buy something relatively cheap and cheerful and I’d always hankered after a Langster. Picked one up on ebay.
Fast forward a few months and everything goes into lockdown, my (with hindsight) ridiculous travelling halts and I have a bike on the other side of the channel.
It’s a waste and I’d like to see it used. It’s fun.
More important stuff…
Bike was picked up stock, it’s a 56”. It has a few scrapes as you’d expect, but no dings or rust (except on the odd bolt). In fact it looks pretty tidy and rides well.
I immediately switched out the bars for some on-ones (as I am old and creaky), obviously replaced the levers, added new cables and some cheap clip-less pedals.
After a couple of months I added new tyres and raceblade longs as I’d forgotten how dirty those gutters were.
Just this month I had Brockley Bikes give it a once over. They replaced the rear pads.
The bike is currently with Brockley Bikes, so any appointments need to be arranged with them.
Just message me if interested and I’ll supply details.
I appreciate most folk wouldn’t want to buy without a look, but I would ask that we keep it to serious interest only. They’re operating under pretty tight COVID guidelines, swamped with work and assisting essential workers with their transport.
I’ve put the price at what I think reasonable, based on going prices on here and ebay and considering it has pretty much new tyres, guards, cables, etc. and has just been serviced (which covers over half the asking price), but if you think I’m way off let me know.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.

So yeh, ideally I’d like £300.
Donation to the forum on sale of course.
