Im looking to buy a new watch. To be used for everyday wear. Auto or handwound. <38mm with sensible lug to lug measurements . Budget of around £1k. I'll happily look at 2nd hand, but not vintage . Preferably some degree of water resistance. Already have a max bill, and am looking for something a bit less dressy . What are my options?

Sinn, Damasko, Omega, Seiko, Stowa... plenty to look at in that price range.

Thanks. Quite like the look of a few stowa models. Lug to lug seems loooong on many of them though. Sinn556 does look nice, but I think it may be a bit too large. Any particular omegas that you were thinking of?
