Odd type of miaowing from Higgs this morning, then when I was washing my hands in the bathroom she came in and very neatly peed in the bath, almost directly down the plug hole.
A bit of investigation showed that the chip reader in the cat flap had stopped working overnight, so I have ordered a new one.
Very impressed by Higgs clear thinking in what was clearly a challenging situation.
