What's the absolute cheapest you'd go for dynamo lights? I expect them to get broken in communal bike storage so don't want to get anything nice. Would you pay extra for a parking light?

I don't like the idea of being stood in the road at a red light with no lights on at all if it's night time

Very good point, stand light it is.

RE: The AliExpress stuff I'd prefer to get something from a European manufacturer, (perhaps idly) hoping it was made under marginally better circumstances with a bit more respect for the environment. Think I'll go for B&M Avy Plus and an Axa Go Steady.
