  • Hah, I didn’t sugar coat things but dishing it out? Hardly.

But I mean if I did accidentally call someone a cunt as part of that discussion can you point me to where and I will apologise and go back and edit.

Dunno, feel that being accused of being unhelpful, being a cunt and being abusive in one tasty sentence is a bit much. Although I did call Chalfie a bit of a cunt in here once...and that guy on the mask thread. But they were being insufferable.

  • I didn't realise I was being a cunt.
It's easy to upset people at the moment.

It doesn't matter if £600k is "just a house" in London. It's still a fuck load of money. If you're stretching to afford it now, it's probably not a good place to be in. I know we all stretch to get in/on to the "LADDER". But, maybe the house isn't worth the money?
And passing your woes on to the seller is not the way to go here.

    It's like saying
"I'll come and pick these wheels up, but you need to knock the price of my travel to and from you off the sale price"

    (on a very simplistic level)

  • that reminds me - you owe me a fiver for transporting your dorkcube from herne hill the 'nham.

are you any good at it?

Yeah I'm not persuaded by fox's argument either, and TBH a bit more with Howard on this.

Whether it's the case or not my assumption would be someone in their early 30s buying their 2nd place @£600k is likely than not to be able to access additional cash if they really want to.

To me his OP came across more as cunt with an apostrophe, rather than aggressive.

The £600k is pretty ephemeral though. Functionally it's a £2,500/month (or whatever) house, and that's the number to judge the £30k against.
