tbh, I thought bank transfer was an option.

The link only states not requesting PayPal gifts. Nowhere does it state that I can't ask for payment by bank transfer.

Bank transfer offer no buyer protection either so I think the point stands.

You can buy the frame bag new for a similar price (used to be about half that on PX) and have all the usual statutory rights etc.
