Just doing some quick maths.

50 kph x 12 = 600 scale speed.

So 375 mph.

Quicker than the OG c9 on the Mulsanne.

You should seal the holes up on that flat floor. Even on a little thing like that it’s a lot of downforce you’re losing.

The alu tray was added by me for spills as I sheared the first motor pinion clean off in a stack.

Tried to reduce its weight, but I should compare with / without / closed. 😎

actually my fave Tamiya shell

It's awesome when it's done properly to the box art. Not sure why but the MCI repro stickers are a completely wrong shade of blue. So I ended up removing the blue from the wing and side pod stickers and putting it back in paint.

The window outline is madness. Originally I did it in paint but it turns out the outline is on the outside of the mask, so you have to stitch it together from straight sections of sticker. Not sure I'm happy about how that came out but if you don't do it the red surround doesn't fit right.

Who's been a busy boy? You just buying body shells or do you have the buggies too?
Out of curiosity, how does the Astute shell compare with Sand Viper? (Outline wise, length, width, where it curves in, would it fit a DT02?)

They belong to someone who couldn't finish them so I offered to do them! They are all TBG replicas with MCI replica stickers.

Astute shell vs. SV - looks like the Astute shell is longer and a good inch wider at the sides/back. You could probably hack it to work but you'd be removing a lot of the front of it.

Awesome, I had a Terra Scorcher and my twin brother had a Thundershot... all of 31 years ago.. one battery each and a slow charger.. 24 hour wait for about 12 mins of fun...
