  • Struggling a little with pricing this, starting off at £450 but offers welcome. Collection from Shrewsbury, Shropshire on the slim chance someone is nearby, or properly boxed and posted for £40.

Cotic Roadrat (large/long - set up in pics for me at 5'11") frame and forks (Planet X Kaffenback). Great flat bar gravel/commuting bike. Slot dropout frame with DMR removable gear hanger (135mm QR). Frame has had cable guides brazed on to top tube for rear gear cable and full length brake outer (slightly wonky but perfectly functioning). Fork has has crown and mid-blade eyelets for panniers/rack brazed on. Braze ons for guards. Paint is a little tatty (black rattle can over braze ons, but a good colour match, original frame paint is good, few spots of surface rust/scrapes). Frame/fork fits 700x42c or 650x47c tyres.

    •Superstar XCX wheels (19mm internal/swappable end caps/true/bearings good)/Continental Sport Contact 700x42c tyres
•Shimano SLX hydraulic brakes with finned pads
    •Shimano SLX cranks/XTR bottom bracket
•1x9 drivetrain (Shimano XT derailleur/Alivio shifter)
•On One OG swept back bars and new Vitus grips
•Carbon seatpost and nearly new Syncros saddle
    •DMR V8 pedals

Negatives to mention are the tatty paint and the chain isn't in the best condition, good to use, but could do with replacing for cosmetic reasons. Chainring is also fairly worn, but no slipping.

Dibs and PM, PayPal for payment.

  • I had one of these bitd.

Just looking at that chain un-nerves me

  • Yep, it's unpleasant to look at! Been in the shed for a few months without use and the outer plates have definitely got a patina! Will happily knock off an extra tenner for anyone who buys, to replace it.

  • Will send you a pm.

  • Did this go in the end?

  • Yes, now sold

  • Hey, nice build, doing one myself at the minute, what adapter did you use to get those brake calipers on? I'm a bit baffled by all the disc standards.

  • The original owner might now but unfortunately the bike was stolen in Edinburgh on it's first outing. :(

  • The disc adapters are just standard 160mm IS to post mount, readily available from Wiggle etc, should be about £5 an end (make sure you get the appropriate front and rear as they aren't the same).

@unclesomebody, gutted to hear that, that's really shitty :( pinched while it was locked up?

  • Ah, sorry to hear that mate, that's awful.

  • Brill, will do.

    Cheers!
