I'm losing track on where we are at the moment, remortgaging my flat whilst doing a lease extension, selling my partners flat and she is buying a house all at the same time.
We decided to use the same solicitors for all the above as we get email responses back within a couple of hours.and they seem on it.
Partners flat had an offer today from a couple who seem to be very keen first time buyers.
Annoyingly the timing doesn't quite work for stamp duty in the sense as technically she will be a 2nd home owner (I believe) she has to pay the additional stamp duty then claim it back.
Does anyone know how long that may take?
I'm very excited that the new place has a garage, was it @Soul who pimped their garage with an amazing work bench set up?
