  • I don't think I need to. The hub is 112mm OLD so I'm going to put chain tensioners - designed to be used outboard of the dropout - reversed, so inboard between the hub and dropout and take up the 8mm of space.

    In my mind this works perfectly because hub stability can be shared between the hub locknut and the chain tensioners. We'll have to see if it works in practice.
