My buyer has just told me that Santander is not accepting the EWS1 form as proof of building safety because “a lot of EWS1 forms they were receiving were not genuine and were being signed by people who didn’t have the correct qualifications to do this.”
They have apparently asked my housing association for more information regarding the cladding, but if they're worried about an EWS1 being fraudulent, why would they trust something 'lesser'?
