I think it was around 2015 it was said to have changed, could be an urban myth but it makes sense. It's a rash cream that's designed to speed up healing a bit too aggressively, better to just use a neutral moituriser like unscented coconut oil. I got a bunch of little pots of H2Ocean cream after my last tattoo and that seemed to work really well.
Are you talking about cream/ointment difference? I’ve been using Bepanthen for years and never heard or had anything like they.
Also, the method I shared doesn’t use Bepanthen until after the first healing steps (not slimey anymore).
