VCC is well worth it imo, the library is great and (hopefully not being too cheeky) reading the News & Views makes me feel like a young pup :)

Looking really nice! So the spokes are all good? Wheels ready to roll? Nice getting a wheelset like that. What did your Fiamme hoard end up at? Scanning back it looks like a spare version 2 front, 32/40 pair version 3 (no “brevetto Longhi”) and 32/40 pair version 4 (just “Italy” underneath and yellow rather than gold in the decal). Nice to have the spare front for your wheels.

Next job is to clean the face of the rims on this wheelset. Spokes are great.
So version 2 wheelset(32/40)Pair of version 3 rims (32 /40).
And a pair of 32/40 rims but version 2 and version 4 mixed.
I think that's right :)

Oh and bought a Challenge Elite tub to see what they're like.
Edit - Gone for Gum wall.

Not sure I need to say it, but do share a pic of the Challenge tub when you can :) The Italian flag branding with the Fiamme rim will be a nice touch!
Pair of version 3 rims (32 /40)
You just need a mid 60s bike to go with them!
And a pair of 32/40 rims but version 2 and version 4 mixed.
Good front spare to have. I have a 40h version 4 as well. Good to know we’re also going to be flooding the market with our unwanted rims! Although mine will probably sit in my hoard until I’m less fussy / run out of period correct spares :)

Looking at Radsport ad, Maybe there not track specific.
Looking at loads of different tubs and Challenge and Veloflex look like good contenders.
The 47 cycling Manual sounds great, Not a VCC member and maybe I should be.
