As autumn arrives what is the best option for simple to fit/adjust full coverage mudguards.
Will be going on a CdF with 700x35 mm tyres for winter road, light towpath riding. So easy to fit around disc callipers, and if I ever go back to the office again, a rear pannier rack.
Full coverage, simple fitting, and quality are probably top priorities.

You appear to have got some mud on your bike with mudguards. For shame!

tbh I removed the guards (for offroad) after that ride. They're great but cycling claggy clay clogged them like crazy.

Does anyone want a little plastic/rubber flap from a SKS Bleumel as pictured here? Brand new but I've decided to go for Raw flaps (and keep one of the two originals for the all important 3rd flap).
Not very exciting but free/pay for postage to a good home.

Shameless plug but I'm selling some brand new, never ridden 45mm PDW guards in the classifieds

So turns out I had a set of these, compatible -with - luggage - rack - only, SKS Bluemels in the back of the cupboard. (https://www.sks-germany.com/en/products/bluemels-series/bluemels-primus-28-45-black-set/) Fitted they look like this: Notice the leather spacers to get desired distance and cushioning from seat stay bridge. Drilling hole in right place on rear mudguard for said stay fixing was guess work! Anyways. Raining now so will report back.

Reet tidy, though they look a little narrow. In terms of hole drilling in the fender, I set everything in place and mark it either side of the tube where it'll be attached. I also slightly oversize the hole to hopefully minimize stress (mine and the fender).

I had those, they flex a lot.

My morning ride over wet cobbles and sleeping policemen confirmed confirmed as much Amey. The rear guard flexes and bounces a fair bit yes! Not ideal... tho coverage was fine. The search goes on! (Pelago or PDW I suspect) Aluminium is the way I guess if going for single stay on the rear.

Good tip on the over size hole withereed preacher, ta. I am reminded of my mum telling me not to sew replacement buttons on clothes on too tight - there needs to be some give!) - more drilling for me this PM...

Does anyone know how this light should look on a Velo Orange Mudguard? Can't find a manual or how it would fit on.

Does anyone know of a way to mount full length rear mudguard on a frame without the top mount?
