    In the North East, new rules mean you cannot meet people from different households in social settings indoors, including in pubs, restaurants and your home. You should also avoid socialising with other households outside.

  • Still not sure it answers the question, which was "can up to 6 from different households meet in a pub garden?"

    The answer is either "no" on the grounds that the pub garden is still the pub, or "yes" on the grounds that its outside, and meeting in a group of six outside is not illegal (but is against the guidance).
