QR skewers are generally 5 x .8mm, but I have no idea what that means and googling it just seems to bring up 8mm long m5 bolts.
it means that the thread has a nominal outside diameter of 5mm, hence M5 and that the thread pitch is 0.8 mm. A standard thread size.
So an M5 bolt would go in ? Makes sense. Thank you.
