Ah, I see. I thought you bought it to carry the MTB.
I think a high spec T5 that’s a few years old is really going to be the thing that’s best for the job that you want it to do, yet also being pleasant inside and Handling well. If getting a full suss MTB into it with no hassle is your top priority, then anything other than a van will not fit the bill IMHO.
If you want something that’s fast and more enjoyable to drive, then I think accepting the fact that using it to transport your MTB will always be a PITA is going to be required!
