Show a replay of the sprint! Coverage has been shit.

1 how has AvV sprinted with her wrist in that state ?
2 what are they putting in the water in the netherlands ? -

If ELB gets relegated, could be a Dutch 123.

I think it may have cost her the silver too as she stopped pedalling.

I think Borghini slowed herself more than Van Vlueten with the elbowing.

Dutch women are good at cycling
I wonder if there is a parcours that disadvantages them
-

Imagine being relegated from 3rd in the worlds because of that elbow/line change. Looked pretty bad to me.

Top view looked bad, both elbows and verving off the line

They aren't going to take a medal away from Italy in Italy.

Enjoyed these shots.

Wow - looks like it was shot for the cinema.

If she was relegated, she'd be relegated to the last place in the group she was in at the finish.

Someone on Twitter, Mikkel Conde I think, said it looked like a cycling scene from a Bond film.

Yes, skipped back for a print screen of this!

If Sagan was relegated for his actions I don’t see how ELB’s elbow can be without consequences.

Speaking of which ‘Time Trial’ is on iPlayer.

A virtual penalty, nothing changes so is it a penalty? I imagine Borghini knew Van Vleuten was injured yet bumped her cast. Doesn't feel fair, although 'rules are rules'... call me chauvinistic but I would have loved to see Vos on #3, that would certainly have been te best podium ever.

He was relegated to 85th place, which was last place in the lead group. Relegating Longo Borghini would have moved her from third to third.

A disqualification should only happen if the move was dangerous. That move wasn't. It could potentially be seen as cynical, but equally it could've been accidental as Longo Borghini gave it everything to beat Van Vleuten. It's part and parcel of sprinting, especially in a head to head sprint.

I can’t really stand Millar. He’s just about bearable on comms but I don’t want to see him with a camera on him feeding his ego.

Them’s the rules I suppose.

I found it more like an ASMR video, with a view backstage conversations like Dan Martin chatting about forgetting to pick up a water bottle.

def some good stuff in time trial (made me wish the peloton was mic'd up) but felt more like an art piece than a movie/documentary

It's got some of the best in race footage I've seen. There's one bit, from Tirreno, where he's going up a horribly steep finishing climb which is packed with fans and it gives a real sense of what it's like to be in one of these races.
Definitely worth a watch, if you can put aside your antipathy towards Holy David.
Those were some very cheeky elbows.
