Sounds like he thinks he would have gone faster if he had his Garmin working, could have got onto the podium.
Maybe he tried a Pogacar and it didn't get him the win.

favourite betancur era was when he went AWOL to colombia one summer to chug ice cream instead of ride his bike and then came back thiccer than a snicker
